was born from a love of horses, the feeling of home, and the idea that you can carry a little piece of the country with you anywhere — even in the middle of New York City.

Founded by Maureen Brusco in 2024, the brand was inspired by Maureen’s own journey from quiet countryside living to the fast pace of New York City. Growing up around horses, barns, and open fields, riding was always more than just a hobby — it was home. Even after moving to the city, taking the subway to the barn and finding moments of peace around horses kept that connection alive.

Wanting to blend both worlds together, Maureen created Small Town Girl as a reflection of that lifestyle: where equestrian tradition meets modern city style.

Inspired by both English riding and Western influences, our collections combine timeless equestrian details with feminine, everyday fashion. From riding apparel and accessories to cozy lifestyle pieces, everything is designed for riders who want to feel confident, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish — both in and out of the saddle.
